Certified Dog Trainer and Behavior Counselor as well as being Certified in Dog
Aggression by the San Francisco - SPCA Academy for Dog Trainers.
I am also a
Certified Pet Dog Trainer thru the Association of Pet Dog Trainers/
Certification Council for Pet Dog Trainer
(APDT).
I am working on my certification
thru The International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants.
I am not a
Behaviorist.
An Applied Animal Behaviorist
has a formal education and background in psychology and or animal behavior
with a PhD degree.
Like psychologists in other areas,
animal psychologists who have obtained a Ph.D. usually engage in three types
of work: teaching, research, and applied work.
