Puppy Head-Start is a special program developed to get both you and your pup off on the right path.

This is for puppies between the ages of 10-16wks at the start of class. This is an introduction to raising and managing your puppy. Lots to learn for both human and canine. We will cover the basics: sit, down, leash walking, housetraining, not jumping on people, nail      trimming, cleaning teeth, playing games and exposure to sounds, smells, people and things to walk and climb on.  You'll learn how to set them up to succeed, how they learn and an introduction to clicker training.

 

 This is a 5 week long course - 1 hr each week.

Research shows that a 7 week old puppy brain is fully functioning - meaning your puppy has the same ability to learn as a 7 month old dog! The earlier you start training, the more success you will have with him/her later on. Train NOW and save time "untraining" bad behaviors later!

 Health Requirements

Puppies should have received their first booster vaccination and bordetella with a negative fecal result at least 7 days prior to class start date. If you recently adopted your puppy - you must wait 7-10 days before enrolling your puppy to avoid possible sickness such as Kennel Cough.
